A Farwell to Ken

 

A few words from Barbara to her family and friend about Ken.
 
Since 2001 his leukemia became more progressive, and he
spent many times in our local Hospice which became like a second home, we
were fortunate enough to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary in 2003.

10 days after that celebration Ken was very sick in the Hospice and we were
told he may not come out, but he was a brave fighter, although the quality
of his health was a lot less, we did as much as possible every good day by
going to town and enjoying a coffee in the sunshine.

Sad to say he did pass away very peacefully, on April the 28th at home and
with his family.
